The Ordering Process for Modern Stairs

REQUEST A QUOTE:

• Items Needed for Quote:
  • Floor plans of each staircase.
  • Elevation and design drawings with specifications, including but not limited to stair railing systems and material species.
  • Simple line sketches showing basic staircase dimensions if prints are unavailable.
  • PDF and CAD file formats are acceptable.
  • Inspiration photos.
• Upon receipt of floor plans, a formal estimate will be prepared promptly for your review and consideration.

STAIR MEASURING PROCESS:

• Upon acceptance of the formal estimate, the design and construction process will begin using one of the following measuring options:
  • Dimensions that are specified on your architectural plans.
  • Dimensions that are provided from field measurements.
  • Dimensions our team can obtain by visiting your job site (this is optional).
  • NOTE: Conceptual drawings can be sketched to start the process.
• Once the drawing is approved, the staircase carriage is fabricated in the shop with finished risers, treads, and skirt boards.

MODERN STAIR AND HANDRAIL SYSTEM DELIVERY PROCESS:

• Bronze Package:
  • Your modern stairs are shipped to the job site for installation by our trim subcontractor.
• Silver Package:
  • Your modern stairs are delivered to the job site and installed by our expert artisans.
  • Loose modern stair railing parts will be delivered to your job site for installation by your trim subcontractor.
• Gold Package:
  • Your modern stairs are delivered to the job site and installed by our expert artisans.
  • Your pre-fit modern stair railing system is delivered to your job site for installation by our trim subcontractor. This prefabricated (dry-fit) solution includes the stair railing system being cut and installed on the staircase in our shop – complete with balusters, newels, and fittings. Your modern stair railings are packaged in a kit form for easy installation.
• Platinum Package:
  • Turn-Key Installation: Your modern stairs and complete handrail system are delivered to the job site and installed by our expert artisans.
